The offer
The BSCI system offers the improvement of social criteria and working conditions according to ILO core standards including. Prevention of child labor, forced labor, harassment, furthermore promotion of cooperation and fair wages in the supply chains. It includes the analysis of the supply chain, the producers, risk assessment/ duty of care OECD by country and location, audits, measures and monitoring of the producers incl. Grievance mechanism and interaction with local stakeholders. The supply chain is clearly managed on a platform resp. database, i.e. mapping of the entire supply chain, status by producer, contacts, planned improvements and quality management.
Company / Organization
The amfori association brings together 2,500 member companies in 44 countries across all industries, providing a common system and platform to fulfill due diligence and make supply chains more sustainable. BSCI offers the Code of Conduct, an auditing system and further training (i.e. improvement of working conditions and wages). With BEPI, climate-damaging impacts are reduced and environmental impact is improved. QMI improves the productivity of producers.
