The STeP by OEKO-TEX® criteria cover the main human rights risks such as child labor, forced labor, sexual harassment and excessive working hours in the textile sector.
The OEKO-TEX® certificate STeP means Sustainable Textile & Leather Production. It stands for socially responsible and safe working conditions as well as environmentally sound production throughout the supply chain of the textile and leather industry. STeP by OEKO-TEX® certifies production sites and processes as well as working conditions for employees in the textile supply chain.

About the company / organisation
TESTEX is a globally active and independent Swiss testing and certification organization. The focus is on testing and certification of textiles and leather products. As a member institute of the OEKO-TEX® Association, it is the official representative on five continents.
